Established in 1958, located in the city of Tuzla and equipped with many advanced research facilities, University of Tuzla is a world-class higher education center, which is one of the most notable ones in the republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The university was established as a mining school first and was being managed by the university of Sarajevo. In 1975, the university gained its independence and become a recognized higher education center.
